It starts like many other startup stories in the boys' room. For several years, Håkon Lilland had been frustrated by the poor selection and high prices at Norwegian bike shops. When the former Norwegian champion and national cyclist in 2006 was about to move up to the senior class, he chose to give up and start bikeshop.no instead. Also on the team were his father and grandfather, who are still active in the operation and development of the company.
